When an Advance account has been blocked, it could be for a few different reasons. Here are the most likely reasons we would have blocked your Advance account.

  1. You have cancelled your direct debit mandate
  2. Your direct debit mandate has failed
  3. You have an outstanding Advance amount that we have not been able to collect.
  4. The bank account you have provided does not accept direct debits.
  5. Your employer has not yet sent payment / there is an issue with your employer’s payment.
  6. You are behind on your repayments for a Salary Finance loan.

Other reasons may be:

  1. You have a loan with Salary Finance and you have an IVA.
  2. You have asked your bank to return a payment on your Advance account (Chargeback).
  3. You have asked Salary Finance to refund an Advance to you..
  4. You have an outstanding amount due from an Advance account related to a previous
  5. employer.

Please note that if your account has been blocked, it takes approximately 1-2 working days to activate it. It will only be re-activated if it is eligible to be so.

Whilst we will endeavour to unblock customers, we sometimes have to suspend Advance customers. This means you will not be able to access Advance for 3 months.

If we do have to suspend your Advance account, here is why:

  1. You have cancelled your direct debit mandate 3 or more times.
  2. Your direct debit mandate has failed 3 or more times.
  3. You have had a Chargeback on your Advance 3 or more times.

If none of the above relate to you, please contact us, so we can look into this for you.
